I’m a radio, print, video and photo journalist who’s reported across the U.S., and in  Israel, Hong Kong, Mexico, Germany, Kosovo and Colombia. My bylines include PRI’s The World, Marketplace, NPR, Latino USA, Here & Now, the Associated Press, the AFP, TIME, and the In Transit blog of the New York Times. Please check out some work samples here.

In 2016 I moved to Berlin with a fellowship from the Robert Bosch Foundation. Soon I’ll be reporting in Colombia with two colleagues about the 2016 peace accord with what was the FARC guerrilla group, thanks to a grant from the Pulitzer Center and War Stories Peace Stories.

I speak Spanish and English fluently, advanced German and French and a good bit of Hebrew.
