I’m a radio, print, video and photo journalist who’s reported across the U.S., and in  Israel, Hong Kong, Mexico, Germany, Kosovo and Colombia. My bylines include PRI’s The World, Marketplace, NPR, Latino USA, Here & Now, the Associated Press, the AFP, TIME, and the In Transit blog of the New York Times. Please check out some work samples here.

In 2016 I moved to Berlin with a fellowship from the Robert Bosch Foundation. Now I’m in Colombia about to start reporting with two colleagues about the 2016 peace accord with what was the FARC guerrilla group, thanks to a grant from the Pulitzer Center and War Stories Peace Stories.

I speak Spanish and English fluently, advanced German and French and a good bit of Hebrew.
